Karol Szymanowski ( 1882 - 1937 ) was a Polish Composer. His piano compositions includes 3 Pianos Sonatas, several etudes, preludes and mazurkas. He is best known for his Mazurkas, and various pieces of his have been performed by fellow renowned Polish pianists Krystian Zimerman and Artur Rubinstein.
