Bella Davidovich ( 1928 ) was born in Baku, USSR. She studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Konstantin Igumnov and Yakov Flier and co-won the 1949 Chopin competition. She would go on to record works by Chopin, Beethoven and Schumann among many others.
