Maria Grinberg ( 1908 - 1978 ) was born in Odessa, Russia. She studied under both Felix Blumenfeld and Konstantin Igumnov at the Moscow Conservatory. Her recordings include the complete sonatas of Beethoven, Ravel, Rachmaninov and Liszt.
