Viktoria Postnikova ( 1944 ) was born in Moscow, Russia. She performed to much acclaim at the Chopin, Leeds and Tchaikovsky competitions. She is best known for recording the complete solo works and concertos 1 - 3 by Tchaikovsky. She also has recorded works by Schnittke, Busoni and Mendelssohn. With her husband Gennady Rozhdestvensky they performed many concertos and works for four hands.
