Robert Fizdale ( 1920 - 1995 ) was born in Chicago, Illinois. He studied at Julliard with Ernest Hutcheson. It was at Julliard that he met fellow pianist Arthur Gold. The two created an ensemble and would record works by that ranging from Stravinsky to Mendelssohn.
