Arthur Gold ( 1917 - 1990 ) was born in Toronto, Canada. He studied at the Julliard School of music under the renowned pianist Rosina Lhevinne. He formed a duo with fellow pianist Robert Fizdale. The two would go on to record works ranging from Mendelssohn to Stravinsky.
