Nelson Goerner ( 1969 ) was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied with renowned pianist Maria Tipo and winning first prize at the Geneva International Competition gave his name prominence. He would go on to record works by Busoni, Chopin, Liszt and Brahms.
