Boris Bloch ( 1951 ) was born in Odessa, Ukraine. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Tatiana Nikolayeva and Dmitri Bashkirov. In 1978 he won the first prize at the Busoni competition. He recorded piece by Liszt, Schumann, Mussorgsky and Busoni across different labels.
