Jacqueline Blancard ( 1909 - 1994 ) was born in Paris, France. She studied at the Lausanne Conservatory and subsequently the Paris Conservatoire. Furthur studies with Alfred Cortot made her an acclaimed pianist for works by Schumann, Debussy and Ravel.
