Kemal Gekić ( 1962 ) was born in Split, Croatia. He studied at the University of Novi Sad. During this tenure he performed well in piano competitions. He recorded under several labels such as JVC, Palexa and Naxos. He recorded works by Chopin, Liszt and Sriabin.
