Jenő Jandó ( 1952 - 2023 ) was born in Pécs, Hungary. He studied at the Franz Liszt Academy and would eventually become a professor there. Success in several piano competitions would lead to a recording contract with Naxos. With the label he has recorded numerous works and albums which include works by Bartok, Liszt, Chopin and Haydn.
