Agustin Anievas ( 1934 ) was born in New York City, New York. He studied with Eduard Steuermann and Adele Marcus at Julliard and won the first International Mitropoulos Competition for Pianists in 1961. He was signed by EMI and would go on to record many romantic works which include Sonatas by Chopin and Liszt and the complete concertos and preludes of Rachmaninov.
