Kurt Weill ( 1900 - 1950 ) was a German composer. He studied composition at Berliner Hochschule für Musik and subsequently studied with Ferruccio Busoni. His solo compositions for piano include an Intermezzo and Albumblatt for Erika. He is better known for his songs from the Threepenny Opera other songs which include "My Ship", "September Song from Knickerbocker Holiday" and "Speak Low".
