Ignace Jan Paderewski ( 1860 - 1941 ) was born in Podolia Governorate, Russia. He studied at the Warsaw Conservatory. He was a prolific composer and his compositions include several piano compositions and a concerto. His recordings include works by Chopin and Liszt and is considered to be one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century.
