Hélène Grimaud ( 1969 ) was born in Aix-en-Provence, France. After graduating from the Paris Conservatory, she would record works by Schumann, Rachmaninov and Brahms for Denon. In 2002 she would sign with Deutsche Grammophon and continues to record works ranging from Bach and Liszt and to modern composers such as Pärt, Corigliano and Sawhney.
