Lang Lang ( 1982 ) was born in Shenyang, China. He studied at Beijing's Central Conservatory of Music. He would later study with renowned pianist Gary Graffman at the Curtist Institute of Music. Across Sony and Deutsche Grammophon he has recorded works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Beethoven and several Chinese composers.
