Moriz Rosenthal ( 1862 - 1946 ) was born in Lviv, Ukraine. He studied at the Lviv Conservatory and eventually become a pupil of Franz Liszt. He recorded for EMI, RCA Victor and Columbia. His discography include works by Chopin, Liszt and Brahms.
