Jean-Bernard Pommier ( 1944 ) was born in Beziers, France. He studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Yves Nat. Winning the Berlin Young Musicians International Competition gave his name prominence. He would go on to record works by Mozart, Schumann and Chopin.
