Silke Avenhaus ( 1969 ) was born in Karlsruhe, Germany. She studied at the Munich University for Music & Performing Arts and Indiana University. She also studied with Andras Schiff. She is a prominent chamber musician and has recorded works by Schubert, Dvorak and Liszt.
