Linda Bustani ( 1951 ) was born in Rondônia, Brazil. She showed early promise with her studies in Rio de Janiero and as a result transferred to the Moscow Conservatory where she studied under Elisso Virsaladze. She performed well at the 1974 Leeds competition which gave her name prominence.
