Cord Garben ( 1943 ) was born in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany. He studied at the Hanover State University. He became a producer at Deutsche Grammophon and worked with many prominent artists. He also recorded works for Lieder with artists such as Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau.
