Alexei Nasedkin ( 1942 - 2014 ) was born in Moscow, Russia. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Heinrich Neuhaus. He performed successfully at the Leeds and Tchaikovsky competitions which gave prominence to his name. Under the Melodiya label he recorded works that include Chopin, Prokofiev, and Rachmaninov.
