Yuri Slesarev ( 1947 ) is a Evpatoria, the Republic of Crimea. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Victor Merzhanov. After performing well at both the Leeds and Tchaikovsky competitions he concertized and recorded works by Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev.
