Zinaida Ignatyeva ( 1938 ) was born in Moscow, Russia. She studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Samuel Feinberg and gained some prominence by finishing 5th in the 1960 Chopin competition. She has recorded works by Chopin, Liszt and Beethoven and also been a teacher at the Moscow Conservatory.
