Hamish Milne ( 1939 - 2020 ) was born in Salisbury, England. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music. He focused on the piano works of Nikolai Medtner and through the Hyperion recorded many of his works. He also recorded works by Weber and contributed to the Romantic Piano Concerto Hyperion series.
