Jean Louis Steuerman ( 1949 ) was born in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. From there he would win a scholarship to study at the Naples conservatory. He performed well at the 1972 Bach competition in Leipzig which gave his name prominence. Under the Philips label he recorded works by Bach and Scriabin.
