Pascal Devoyon ( 1953 ) was born in Paris, France. He studied at the Paris Conservatory and finished second in the Busoni competition in 1974. Strong finishes in both the Leeds and Tchaikovsky competitions in 1975 & 1978 respectively would really launch his professional career. He would go on to record works by Liszt, Ravel and Tchaikovsky across several labels.
