Aleksander Michałowski ( 1851 - 1938 ) was born in Kam'yanets'-Podil's'kyi, Ukraine. He studied at the Leipzig Conservatory with prominent teachers Moscheles, Reinecke and Coccius. His recordings include Preludes, Waltzes and Etudes by Chopin.
