Ignaz Frieldman ( 1882 - 1948 ) was born in Podgórze, Poland. He studied under renowned pianists Leschetitzky and Busoni. He was also a prolific composer with over 90 works to his name. His recording include works by Chopin, Beethoven and Mendelssohn. His style embodied many of the actual composers and he is considered to be one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century.
