Paul Badura-Skoda ( 1927 - 2019 ) was born in Vienna, Austria. He studied under renowned pianist Edwin Fischer and was part of the Viennese Troika along with Friedrich Gulda and Jörg Demus. He has a prolific discography and he performed the works of Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert to much acclaim.
