Samuil Feinberg ( 1890 - 1962 ) was born in Odessa, Russia. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Alexander Goldenweiser and also would go on to be a professor there. He was a prolific composer as well and his compositions include several sonatas and three piano concertos.
