Jacob Lateiner ( 1928 - 2010 ) was born in Havana, Cuba. He studied with Isabella Vengerova at the Curtis Institute. He recorded for RCA Victor and Westminster and his recordings include works by Tchaikovsky, Beethoven and Brahms. He also recorded with the renowned violinist Jascha Heifetz.
