Mark Hambourg ( 1879 - 1960 ) was born in Boguchar, Russia. He studied in Vienna under Leschetizky. He befriended Rosenthal and Busoni and performed the Busoni concerto. His recordings include works by Tchaikovsky, Schumann and Chopin.
