Cécile Ousset ( 1936 ) was born in Tarbes, France. She studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Marcel Ciampi. Performances at the Busoni, Cliburn, and the Queen Elisabeth competitions gave her name prominence. Her recordings include works by Rachmaninov, Liszt, Grieg and Debussy primarily under the EMI label.
