Geoffrey Parsons ( 1929 - 1995 ) was born in Sydney, Australia. He studied at the NS State Conservatorium of Music under Winifred Burston who had studied under Busoni. Although an accomplished soloist he is best known for his accompanist recordings. His recordings include Lieder by Liszt, Strauss, Wolf and Schubert.
