Paul Pabst ( 1854 - 1897 ) was born in Königsberg, East Prussia. He studied under Liszt in Weimar and was a well respected pianist. He as a professor at the Moscow Conservatory and his students included Lyapunov, Medtner and Goldenweiser. His compositions include a concerto.
