Boris Berman ( 1948 ) was born in Moscow, Russia. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory. He taught at various universities and recorded for Chandos, Melodiya and Philips. His recordings include works by Scriabin, Shostakovich, and was also the first to record the complete solo piano music of Prokofiev.
