Goran Filipec ( 1981 ) was born in Rijeka, Croatia. After initial studies in Croatia he studied at the Moscow Conservatory, Italy's Oxana Yablonskaya Piano Institue and the Hague's Royal Conservatoire. Success at various pianos competition led to recordings of Liszt and Scarlatti under the Naxos label.
