Richard Yardumian ( 1917 - 1985 ) was an American born composer. His composition trace back to his Armenian roots and his compositions include, three preludes, a chromatic sonata and Passacaglia, Recitative and Fugue for Piano and Orchestra. Some of his works were championed by renowned pianist, John Ogdon.
