Volker David Kirchner ( 1942 - 2020 ) was a German composer. He studied at the Peter Cornelius Conservatory and eventually the Hochschule fur Musik Detmold. He was a renowned violinist and his piano works include a sonata, a set of Tangos, and several Quartets.
