Samuel Dushkin ( 1891 - 1976 ) was a Polish composer and violinist. He studied at the Paris Conservatoire and subsequently with Leopold Auer and Fritz Kreisler. Just like them he composed and transcribed many works for violin and orchestra. This included works by Stravinsky, Albeniz and Mussosrgsky.
