Sergei Slonimsky ( 1932 - 2020 ) was a Russian composer. He studied at the Leningrad Conservatory and would later become a professor at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. He was a prolific composer for piano and his compositions include a Sonata, Raindrops and 24 Preludes and Fugues.
