Abram Chasins ( 1903 - 1987 ) was an American composer and pianist. He studied at the Curtis Institute of Music with Josef Hofmann. He was a prolific composer for piano, but is best known for his Chinese pieces which were recorded by renowned pianists such as William Kapell and Shura Cherkassky.
