Ingrid Haebler ( 1929 - 2023 ) was born in Vienna, Austria. Her studies included the Vienna Academy of Music and with renowned teacher Marguerite Long. She recorded initially for VOX and then significantly for Philips. She is well respected for her recordings of Mozart and Schubert and considered one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century.
