Zaidee Parkinson ( 1937 ) was born in New York. She studied with acclaimed pianists/teachers Leon Fleisher and Rosina Lhevinne and subsequently studied composition with Bohuslav Martinu. She recorded Mozart's Concerto in E-Flat and Sonata in D for two pianos with renowned pianist Earl Wild in 1975. In 1994 she released recordings of Debussy, and Janacek for Connoisseur Records which received critical acclaim.
